Engineered Wood
Many of our clients are looking for a continuous flooring throughout the home. A time-honored flooring choice of solid hardwood is hard to argue. Solid hardwoods are a difficult product to replace if water damaged. Two less costly options for a hardwood look include purchasing engineered hardwood and luxury vinyl tile.

Momentum Designs engineered hardwoods are layered on a ½ inch core and feature natural beveled edges to produce a faithful solid hardwood look. Momentum Designs engineered wood flooring comes in 6-inch or 7-inch widths. In addition, to plank lengths that vary from 12 to 96 inches, ensuring a high-end custom floor aesthetic. This engineered wood can be nailed or stapled down to plywood subfloors, r glued down to wood or concrete floors. In addition, installed as a floating floor over wood, concrete, or vinyl.
Luxury Vinyl Tile
Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) comes in a wide range of wood look colors and styles. French Creek Designs carries LVT from MSI Surfaces and Momentum Designs. LVT is a great option if you want to update the look of your home and want to keep options open for changing the look in the future. Many of our clients appreciate the softer feeling and scratch resistance of LVT, especially if they have young children or pets. MSI’s residential flooring comes with a lifetime limited warranty and commercial options carry a 15-year light commercial warranty.
LVT also made on a wood-based core, but the wood look is an image printed onto a layer over the core and covered with a clear vinyl coating. The process results in unlimited options for colors and wood grain patterns. Rigid core LVT can be installed as a click together, floating floor. Glue down LVT can be installed over concrete or wood subfloors. The waterproof characteristics of LVT allow for having the wood look in kitchens and baths without concerns about moisture.
